Electropreneur Park (EP), Bhubaneswar is an ESDM Incubation Centre set up by STPI, with support from Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY), Govt. of India and Govt. of Odisha as part of its PAN India initiative to create a network of Centres of Entrepreneurship. EP-BBSR is equipped with state-of-the-art advanced Lab, plug & play facilities for incubatees in the CoE. EP BBSR brings in a pool of mentors, academicians, investors & consultants in market intelligence with the major focus on patenting, converting ideas into successful products. This will help in accelerating innovation, enabling industry-oriented research and development of the talent pool in the ESDM domain.

Who can apply

• Entity working towards innovation, development or improvement of products, processes or services or if it is a scalable business model with high potential of employment generation or wealth creation. Entity should not have been formed by splitting up or reconstructing an already existing business.
• Start-ups registered with DPIIT under start-up India programme are encouraged to participate in this program.
• Individual Academicians, Researchers, Educators, Entrepreneurs, partnership firms, LLPs may also participate. However, if they are selected then they will have to register as private limited company in a stipulated time (preferably within 3 months).

About IndiaAI Innovation Challenge

In line with the Government of India’s commitment to advancing AI leadership, the IndiaAI Mission was approved on March 7th, 2024. The Mission aims to bolster India's global leadership in AI, foster technological self-reliance, ensure ethical and responsible AI deployment, and democratize the benefits of AI across all strata of society.

The IndiaAI Mission focuses on key pillars of the AI ecosystem, including Compute Capacity, Innovation Centre, Datasets Platform, Application Development Initiative, FutureSkills, Startup Financing, and Safe & Trusted AI. Implemented by IndiaAI – an independent business division of Digital India Corporation, the Mission strives to create a robust AI infrastructure and ecosystem in India.

One of the key initiatives under the IndiaAI Mission is the IndiaAI Application Development Pillar, which seeks to promote impactful AI solutions in critical sectors. The initiative will focus on developing, scaling and promoting adoption of transformative AI applications with potential for driving significant socio-economic progress.

IndiaAI invites innovators, researchers and entrepreneurs to be part of the AI Innovation Challenge under the IndiaAI Application Development Pillar. Participants will be provided a platform to harness the potential of AI across critical priority areas such as healthcare, agriculture, climate change and disaster management among others. Winning teams will have the unique opportunity to bolster India’s global leadership in the AI innovation ecosystem and showcase their innovative solutions that contribute to the country's growth, on a national stage.

About

Centre of Excellence on Efficiency Augmentation is setup by STPI in collaboration with the Government of Karnataka, supported by HPEIPL at Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The CoE is the first of its kind in India which is an immersion of innovation, creativity and new business development for augmentation of the efficiency in all the business verticals, service sector & also in Government operations/projects leveraging emerging Industry 4.0 technologies.

The best-in-class infrastructural facility located at Jayanagar the heart of the Bengaluru City has the following:

1. Innovation and Development Lab equipped with latest tools/equipment to support startups to build products/solutions in the identified domains.
2. Incubation facility of 16,000 Sq. ft. (100+ Plug n Play incubation seats).
3. Training Facility.

Objective – To Support start-ups that would build products and solutions to increase the efficiency of the industrial production and operations, service sector, and Government projects, leveraging the emerging technologies.

Centre of Excellence (CoE) on Efficiency Augmentation was launched on 30^th November 2023.

WHO CAN APPLY

The CoE-EA invites the proposals/applications from Indian Start-ups / companies who are working in Emerging Industry 4.0 Technologies who would like to use CoE-EA Innovation and Development Lab Equipment.

The start-up must be incorporated as a:

• Private Limited Company (as defined in the Companies Act, 2013) or
• Registered Partnership Firm (Regd. under section 59 of the Partnership Act, 1932) or
• Limited Liability Partnership (under the Liability Partnership Act 2008)

Terms & Conditions
• Selected start-ups willing to raise funding with STPI shall share 5% equity with STPI.
• Each start-up have to book the time slot in advance
• The start-up who wish to avail CoE-EA physical incubation space may approach STPI. The allocation, charges and T&C shall be as per applicable Incubation norms
